Responsibilities
The Gould Peterson Municipal Airport is located one mile east of Tarkio. They Board and Mayor have the power to adopt rules of procedure and by-laws, as necessary to administer to the operation and maintenance of the Airport.
EAA Chapter 1405 (aka-Wingnuts Flying Circus)
The EAA Chapter 1405 is based at the Gould Peterson Airport in Tarkio, MO. We strive to preserve the history of both World War II and Civilian flight training through a museum as well as some aircraft projects. We also host “The Greatest Little Airshow”. Generally, the air show is held the second Saturday every other year.
