Responsibilities

The Tarkio Park and Recreation Board has exclusive control of the expenditures of all money collected to the credit of the Park Fund and of the supervision, improvements, care and custody of the Parks and Recreation facilities of the City. The Board has the power to purchase or otherwise secure grounds to be used for such parks. The Board has the power to appoint a suitable person to serve as the Supervisor of Parks and Recreation, to take care of parks and necessary assistants of the Board.

Meetings

Board meetings are held regularly on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 5:00 pm. Contact City Hall (736-4821) if you would like to be placed on the agenda.
